Hard to find a career job in vancouver...?

I've graduated for a year now and I am finding it difficult to land a good career job in Vancouver Canada. I have a bachelor degree in Forest resource management, which i find is quite useless in finding jobs. It is also true for art degree graduates and certain science graduates as well. I am specifically looking for jobs in the business field but with my degree and lack of experience as a new graduate, i am finding it stressful to find jobs. I am even thinking of moving back to Taiwan to find a job there. Right now, I've worked three months at mcdonalds as a cashier and now i am working at a paint store as a sales associate (i am finding the jobs to be unfulfilling). I'd like to find a job that will have great advancement opportunities. To the new graduates, how is the job search so far and how is it finding your first job???
