Which is the first computer manufacturer in the world?

>I am being VERY careful here to take your question literally. I understand you to be asking, who is the FIRST (oldest) computer manufacturer. The answer is most likely Bell Labs who are a part of General Electric, back in the 1930's. Then, came IBM who, between Bell Labs and IBM, built the first computers for cracking German Code in WWII and built small computers for the Norden Bomb Site used in both British and Amerian bombers over Germany. Then after WWII built the first computers for missile guidance systems in the mid to late 1940's. By the end of the 1940's. IBM was building commercial mainframes, one of which was known as the UNIVAC.
