Where can I find out where and by what company electronics are manufactured?

Is there a website or some database to find out where tablets, cell phones and computer parts are produced? I'm thinking about something like you type in 'Apple Ipad' and it tells you it's made by Foxconn in New Taipei City in Taiwan.
